OUR
SEPTEMBER 29th
meeting will feature
$3700 worth of
door prizes and:
Color
Correction
(part 2)
with
Jason Broussard.
This is part 2 of our in-depth look at the All-Powerful
Color Correction tools within FCP. Create natural or
stylized looks and anything in-between. Isolate certain
elements of the image, and manipulate only what you want. Make
shadows of a scene darker without darkening the entire image;
change a dingy sky to bright blue color. Create the look from
the film, "Pleasantville", where the entire image is black and
white except for one colored object in the frame.
GarageBand
with
Shawn Bockoven.
Shawn designed, built, manages, and engineers at the
educational television station METV/KMET. Shawn will show us
how GarageBand turns your Mac into a recording studio
with beat loops and synthesized or recorded instruments. Bring
out the best in your video soundtrack by enhancing timing and
tuning, adding effects like compression, reverb, EQ, Chorus,
and other filters. Shawn will show us how to round trip, make
beautiful soundtracks, edit for pace, or add foley.
